The worst enemies Elvis
had were those whom he trusted
and who turned on him. Then there were those who knew him
but not well enough. All for the money, no doubt.
Then the matter of family members who became the worst
of enemies by turning against Elvis AFTER he was gone.
Sadly, these family members seem to have shown no remorse
for their doings and that is because some of them
feel Elvis "owed" them. As if Elvis had not done
enough
for them while he was supporting their every whim.
Maybe some have regrets now, maybe some do not.
Jerry Presley, an ETA and a distant relative of Elvis, has
long boasted his claim to being Elvis 2nd cousin and has
gained his status in the Elvis world by intimating his
closeness to Elvis and the family, which is entirely untrue.
The Kin of Rock and Roll has discussed these untruths
with Jerry who has chosen to ignore them entirely. What
is even more shocking is an interview Jerry gave, a
portion of which we show here.
Jerry is one relative who has chosen to abuse the Presley
name by deceiving people and giving purposeful mis-
information about the family history. He is NOT a
grandchild of Rosella Pressley, nor do any of her living
family know who Jerry Presley is. According to Jerry,
Rosella was married to his grandfather, John Presley.
Rosella was not only not married, the father of her
children was John Wallace, not John Presley. We urge
Jerry to start telling the true story as we tell it here,
and
as it really is.
